I have read some of the comments that follow and one which might spark our discussion next week is the following:
I've been recently in touch with some research (old and new) that I had heard of but never review it deeply. And here is the thing: I don't think we are intelligent. Yeah, I know. I will write something about this much more detailed and referenced and publish it soon I hope. But the bottom line here is that we are capable of really complex thinking but not necessarily an intelligent one. I mean, look at us, individually and collectively. We are at constant war, we harm the place we live in, we harm each other, we totally decry out potential, and so forth. Can we really said that these had been intelligent choices? I mean, they took a lot of complex thinking, but are they smart, wise, intelligent decisions?
